| Just a little way up the coast is Sewerby Hall. It's a great place to visit, either on the landtrain from Pleasureworld or by car or bus. There are wonderful gardens, a small zoo and and excellent teashop. On the way you can visit the model village and the 18 hole miniature golf course. | |||||||||||||||||||

A few miles south of Bridlington is Beverley, an almost totally unspoiled town of great beauty. There you can visit the many shops or take a stroll around the ancient Minster or St Mary's Church. Also close by is the market town of Driffield, the famous resort of Scarborough and the smaller and more intimate town of Filey. Inland there are miles and miles of wonderful unclassified roads running through the famous and almost deserted Yorkshire Wolds. Travel north to the North Yorks Moors and the historic port of Whitby, or south to little Hornsey or Skirlington with its Sunday Market, which is also open on Wednesdays in the Summer. |
